Haryana election date changed, let us know when elections will be held in Haryana
Election Commission has changed the date of Haryana elections. Earlier elections in Haryana were to be held on 1st October but now it has been changed to 5th October. Not only the date of Haryana elections but also the date of Jammu and Kashmir elections has changed. Counting of votes in both the states will now take place on October 8. Let us tell you that this election is to be held for 90 seats which will be held in a single phase. Earlier voting was to be done on 1st October but now it has been postponed to 4th October.
BJP, INLD and Bishnoi community had demanded to change the date.
BJP and INLD had demanded the date change because there will be holidays on 28th and 29th September and 2nd October is also a holiday, so people can go out of the city to take advantage of the holidays or to go somewhere. Due to which people will vote less.
On the contrary, Congress, JJP and AAP party were refusing to change the date. They were saying that they all want to change the date because they are afraid of their defeat.
And as far as the Bishnoi community is concerned, they were demanding because on 2nd October, they come to Bikaner in the memory of Guru Jambheshwar. On this day, thousands of Bishnoi families celebrate the festival and travel to Rajasthan. Preparations for the festival also have to be done. They will not be able to vote, that is why Bishnoi community had demanded this.
Voting will be held in a single phase in Haryana
Let us tell you that voting in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir was to be held on one date, which has now been changed to 5th. For your information, let us tell you that the tenure of Haryana Assembly is going to end on 3 November 2024.

In 2019, Haryana elections were held on 21 October, the results of which came on 24 October. Voting was held on 90 seats on October 21. Let us tell you that BJP had won 40 seats. After which Shri Manohar Lal Khattar became the Chief Minister on 27 October.

Bhajan Lal ji won the sixth elections held in 1982. Whose tenure was 6 years 341 days.
The seventh Chief Minister was Om Prakash Chautala. The eighth was Hukum Singh ji. The ninth Chief Minister was Bupender Singh Hooda and the tenth Chief Minister was Manohar Lal Khattar and the eleventh is Naib Singh Saini.
